Korigad - The Lonavala Fortress
Korigad Fort is a hill fort located in the Western Ghats near Lonavala. With an elevation of 923 meters (3,028 ft) above sea level, it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and hills. The fort is known for its historical significance and relatively easy trek, making it perfect for beginners and experienced trekkers alike.
The fort has a rich history dating back to the 16th century when it was built by the Maratha ruler Shivaji Maharaj. The trek takes you through lush green landscapes, ancient temples, and impressive fortifications that have stood the test of time.

05:20 AM: Bremen Chowk, Shivneri Bus Stop
05:30 AM: Pickups from Wakad-Hinjewadi Flyover (Near Sukhwani Indian Oil Petrol Pump)
08:30 AM: Reach Base Village and Have Breakfast
09:30 AM: Start our trek to the summit
11:00 AM: Reach the top of the Fort
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Relax and explore the fort
12:00 PM: Start descending via the same route
01:30 PM: Reach Base Village, Get freshen up
02:00 PM: Have Lunch
03:30 PM: Start Return Journey to Pune
